A Deep Dive into Custom Components in RTSA

Journal Club provided by Winglet

The Journal Club presented by Winglet is back for one last time this year.

On 11 November, we will join a distinguished panel of international experts to try and answer a crucial question for orthopaedics:
Do custom components in RTSA improve patient outcomes?

The format is always the same: prior to the discussion, from 19:00 to 19:15, a 15-minute video abstract will be broadcast in which Mr Mustafa Rashid (East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust) will provide an overview of the article 'Clinical and radiological outcomes of 3D printed Lima ProMade custom glenoid components in primary and revision total shoulder reverse arthroplasty with severe glenoid bone loss: minimum 2-year follow-up', available in the online live centre.

This presentation will be followed by a live Zoom discussion with the experts Dr Martin Petermann (SAG Leipzig - Specialist practice for arthroscopy and joint surgery) and Mr Damian McClelland (Nuffield Health North Staffordshire Hospital), who will join Mr Rashid in discussing custom components used in reverse total shoulder arthroplasty (RTSA).

The session will end at 20:00.

Event details: 11 November, from 19:00 to 20:00. Zoom meeting
