The PxLens, specially developed for hospitals, is a “smartglasses” device equipped with a heads-up display, a 4K camera with microphone, and integrated software.
Its use is intuitive and simple, once it is connected to the Proximie mobile app. Voice commands allow hands-free control of the PxLens camera. Rugged batteries that can be replaced during the course of a surgery ensure that even lengthy procedures can be fully streamed. The first-person perspective of the PxLens enables viewers to see from a distance exactly what the operating surgeon sees – razor-sharp in high-resolution images. You can interact with the surgeon and ask questions or make suggestions, for example. Within the Proximie platform, procedures are recorded and stored in a secure library so that they can be analysed, processed and shared.
